Oak Jar
Turned from a beautiful, old oak stump from my own backyard, this vessel showcases the unique and striking grain of oak which is further enhanced with light charring and heavy texturing with a wire brush. The shape is inspired by ancient Angolan vessels used for liquid transport and storage but given a slightly more playful profile with the exaggerated rim and bead detail. This Jar is finished with Tried&True original varnish oil and is food safe.
