Waveform - Oxidized Box Elder
Inspired by music and shaped by nature, Waveforms are bowls with exaggerated rims. Turned wet, each Waveform undergoes a different transformation as it dries, revealing undulations similar to sound waves. Then each rim is coarsely sanded to mimic the grooves of a vinyl record. The bowls, however, are finely sanded and polished to a satin smooth finish and coated in a food safe hardwax oil. Each Waveform is approximately 10-12 inches in diameter and 3-4 inches tall.
